Benefits of Media Group Membership

– You can initiate the Media Group membership with a minimum of two journalists: one serving as the administrator and one as a collaborator.

– The Media Group administrator can add new collaborators later.

– Throughout the membership period, the administrator has the flexibility to add, modify, or replace member journalists within their MEDIA Group.

– The administrator can suspend a collaborator’s membership at no additional cost and assign it to a new collaborator.

Media Group membership offers duration options of 6 months, 12 months, or 24 months, with the first month free.

The Media Group membership, managed by its administrator, has no fixed term. It will end at the conclusion of the period if not renewed by the Media Group administrator

The Media Group administrator receives a Press Card for the duration of the Media Group membership he has chosen.

The Media Group administrator receives a Press Card for the duration of the chosen membership.

Each member of the Media Group will receive a Press Card upon the administrator’s request.

How do I pay for my membership?

At WorkPress, we offer multiple secure payment options to ensure ease and convenience when settling your membership fees. You can choose from Credit & Debit Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, PayPal, Bancontact, Giropay, iDEAL, EPS, and SOFORT.

What happens after my payment is processed?

Once your payment is processed, your bank acts as a trusted third-party certifier of your identity. This verification enables us to submit your Media Group application and its members’ information to CERTIDoc for professional status registration. Within 12 to 72 business hours, we will obtain the international identifiers (Press ID) for your Media
Group and the professional status credentials of its members. This includes recognition by both the IFEX Press Credential (USA) and CERTIDoc (EU), ensuring that your Media Group’s professional status is securely and officially recognized within EU and international frameworks.

How is each member’s professional status registered?

Each member’s professional status is registered through a secure process conducted by CERTIDoc. Once the Media Group administrator submits the member’s information, an official Press ID is issued within 12 to 72 business hours, recognized by both IFEX (USA) and CERTIDoc (EU).

How do we submit our photo and select Union College?

Once the new member’s Press ID is issued, the administrator will receive an email requesting a high-resolution photo for each Media Group member. This photo is essential for the production and registration of the press cards. The photo submission form will also offer the option to select the Union College that best matches each member’s primary journalistic role, such as Journalist, Photojournalist, Audiovisual Reporter, Blogger, Press Editor, or Podcaster.

How do I access the support portal?

Access to the support and member portal https://assist.workpress.org is exclusively reserved for registered members. As the Media Group administrator, once your membership is confirmed and your members’ photos are submitted, you will automatically receive an email with instructions on how to complete your portal access.

How long does it take to receive our Media Group’s registered and legalized Press Card?

Within 8 to 10 days, you will receive the registered and legalized Press Card for each member:
– eCard Version (for Android and/or iOS devices): You will receive your
digital press card by email, making it ideal for easy access on your
mobile device.
– Physical Version (credit card format and/or US Press Pass): The
physical press card will be sent via postal mail along with
accessories, such as a protective case and lanyard, The press cards will be shipped to the administrator’s postal address.
– A tracking code for the shipment will be sent to the administrator to monitor the delivery status.
