FAQ – Membership Registration Procedures and Timelines

How do I pay for my membership?

At WorkPress, we take your membership seriously. That’s why we offer multiple secure payment options, including Credit & Debit Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, PayPal, Bancontact, Giropay, iDEAL, EPS, and SOFORT, to ensure you can easily settle your membership fees.

What happens after my payment is processed?

Once your payment is processed, your bank serves as a trusted third-party certifier of your identity. This verification allows us to submit your application to CERTIDoc for the registration of your professional status. Within 12 to 72 business hours, we will receive your International Press ID, confirming that your professional status has been officially registered. This includes recognition through both the IFEX Press Credential (USA) and CERTIDoc (EU), ensuring that your professional status is secured and officially recognized within both EU and international frameworks.

How do I submit my photo and choose my Union College?

Once your Press ID is issued, you will receive an email requesting your high-resolution photo, which is necessary for the creation and registration of your Press Card. The form for submitting your photo will also allow you to select the Union College that best aligns with your primary journalistic activity, such as Journalist, Photojournalist, Audiovisual Reporter, Blogger, Press Publisher, or Podcaster.

How do I access the support portal?

Access to the support and member portal https://assist.workpress.org is exclusively reserved for registered members. After your membership has been confirmed and your photo has been submitted, you will automatically receive an email with instructions on how to complete your access to the portal.
